Who should attend: Suitable for beginners through to those wishing to get back into baking and hone their craft. All aspects of the sourdough process are covered – including how to schedule sourdough into your daily life.
Dress Code: Participants are advised to wear flat, enclosed, rubber soled shoes for comfort and safety in the kitchens. To ensure food safety procedures are followed, long hair should be tied back and all unnecessary jewellery removed.

In this class, you will:
- Learn the stages of bread production, from mixing to baking
- Explore the unique characteristics of different grains and their role in bread making
- Master essential techniques, including kneading, folding, and shaping dough
- Delve into sourdough preparation, including creating and maintaining a starter
- Craft your own focaccia, learning techniques for achieving the perfect texture and flavorful toppings
This immersive, hands-on experience is ideal for anyone eager to elevate their bread-making skills. By the end of the day, you’ll leave with confidence, delicious breads, and the knowledge to recreate these artisanal loaves at home.
Finish with a glass of wine paired with cheese and freshly baked sourdough bread. All materials required for baking are provided. Leave with a loaf you have baked on the day, Aprons are provided for use on the day. Alternatively, participants may purchase a Bread on Point apron from our online store below.
